Nanjing Hanyoo Shows Off New Tablet Equipment at Shanghai Pharma Expo

SHANGHAI — The annual CPHI exhibition wrapped up last week. Nanjing Hanyoo Pharmatech drew steady crowds to its booth.

The company brought its latest tablet presses and capsule fillers. A live counting line ran throughout the three-day show.

“People kept stopping to watch the machines work,” said Jason Shing. He’s with Hanyoo’s sales team. “The vision system caught their attention.”

The counting accuracy hits 99.9 percent. That’s what the spec sheet says, at least.

Most machines on display were 2025 models. Hanyoo says 85 percent got upgrades this year.

The new tablet presses handle different volumes. Output ranges from 50,000 to 600,000 tablets per hour. Weight variation stays under one percent.

Energy use dropped too. The granulating machines now consume 15 to 20 percent less power. That matters when electricity costs keep climbing.

A buyer from Southeast Asia toured the booth Tuesday. He wouldn’t give his name. But he said the pricing “makes sense for mid-size operations.”

The equipment meets cGMP standards. Quick changeover is built in. Hanyoo added Industry 4.0 connectivity across the line.

Real-time monitoring comes standard now. Production data flows to dashboards. Plant managers can track things remotely.

Shing mentioned customer feedback drives their development. “We take notes at every show,” he said. “Then engineers work on what people actually need.”

The booth number was NIP20. Hanyoo occupied the same spot as last year.

CPHI Shanghai runs every June. Next year’s dates aren’t confirmed yet.
